l'odissea che sta vivendo la SO polacca per quello che sono i problemi di Cyberpunk è qualcosa che necessitava di scuse.
Cosa sta succedendo in CDprojekt red? Perché hanno dovuto girare un video di scuse per il caso Cyberpunk 2077? Quello che stanno vivendo dal day one ad oggi ha dell’incredibile nella storia dei videogiochi casi simili sono più unici che rari. Andiamo per gradi, intanto ecco il video di scuse che potete guardare attivando i sottotitoli.
Day 1
Il giorno del lancio per Cyberpunk è stato un disastro a cielo aperto. In nemmeno 24h sono piovute polemiche e lamentele, soprattutto da utenti ps4 e xboxone che non riuscivano in alcun modo a giocare al proprio gioco, che avevano pagato e/o preordinato anche da tempo. Subito CDpr si è messa al lavoro per realizzare patch risolutive per questo problema, ma l’utenza è finita per scoraggiarsi ed esserne completamente insoddisfatta.
Le patch NON risolutive
In poco più che un mese dal lancio CDpr ha realizzato tre grandi patch, che hanno risolto qualche minor bug, ma che non hanno reso per niente felici gli utenti. I PCisti bene o male riescono a giocarci, personalmente ho avuto qualche problema che ho risolto da solo alla meglio maniera, ma davvero spero che continueranno a patcharlo perché ne ha bisogno. I modders pure si sono messi all’opera per dare soluzioni. Il problema resta sempre e comunque legato all’utenza di console old gen, che intanto alimentano astio contro la casa di sviluppo.
Rimborsi e Class action
Sono cominciati a piovere i primi rimborsi e la rimozione del gioco dal Playstation Store. Questo non è piaciuto agli azionisti che hanno imbastito una causa legale contro CDpr per non aver adempito alle promesse fatte. Il caso è diventato talmente grosso che qualche giorno fa anche il Governo polacco ha deciso di intervenire e mettere il caso sotto osservazione, per valutare un’eventuale multa da fare alla casa di sviluppo.
Le scuse
Nel video vediamo il co-fondatore Marcin Iwinski, comunicare tutte le scuse ed il rammarico per quello che sta succedendo alla software house ed ai giocatori. Le scuse vengono ovviamente fatte rimarcando anche i problemi e le difficoltà tecniche di lavoro a cui sono sottoposti causa covid, che ovviamente causano limitazioni. Marcin si è assunta tutta la responsabilità sua e dell’amministrazione e prega di non prendersela più con il team di sviluppo che ha avuto la sola colpa di essere messo sotto pressione. Parla poi dei piani futuri e di tutti gli aggiornamenti costanti che faranno al gioco per rendere tutti contenti e farsi perdonare. Voi li perdonate?
